He was elected to the NIDO America Board in June 2009, an active Member and Founding member of the NIDOA Michigan Chapter and served as the PRO coordinator for two years. He has also been the President and founding member of the Nigerian Reunion Corporation that has hosts one of the largest events of young Nigerians in North America for the last 13 years. He is a member of the Board for RCCGNA African Missions a Charitable organization and Board Member for The Exodus Guild an NGO focused on serving the needs of the disabled in Africa. He also serves as a member on a faith base committee for the City of Detroit, Michigan. Mr. Adeyina is also on the board of Cedar Lofat Travel and Tours a company that is working to promote the opportunities for tourism in Africa.
He attended Lawrence Technological University, Southfield MI, and received a Masters degree in Management Information Systems. He also received a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, University of Akron, Ohio. He is a strong believer in education and has taught as an adjunct professor for the University of Phoenix, Detroit Campus and part-time instructor at Wayne County Community College District primarily in the area of computer information systems.
He currently works for HP as a Project Manager providing services for General Motors globally. Prior to that he had an 11 year career working in the Health Care IT business and did IT consulting for 2 years with Cap Gemini America. He is an active member of the PMI institute and a past member of the NSBE.
Mr. Adeyina has also consulted for African World Expo and Michigan Minority Business Development Corporation, in planning African Business expo’s, Speaker at a few US. Colleges on African relations, and participated in various community projects as they relate to the African community in the State of Michigan.
Mr. Adeyina was born in Lagos, but is an indigeon of Ikere-Ekiti, Ekiti state. He completed his secondary school at Federal Government College Ilorin and attended the University of Lagos for a year before leaving for the USA.
Mr. Adeyina is married to Kofo Adeyina CPA, and they have 3 wonderful Children. He is a strong family man and keeps ties with his siblings and extended family throughout the country.
His belief in building organizations, that leaves a legacy embracing all generations.
