Region 2 - Mr. Franklin Ekechukwu (Treasurer)

Franklin Ekechukwu was born in November 27th. 1967, to Late Mr. D.V.C and Mrs. Comfort Ekechukwu, of Umuoti Inyishi in Ikeduru LGA of Imo state Nigeria. He attended his primary school at Eziobu Primary School, Aba, Abia State. He briefly attended Ngwa High school, Aba before Moving to Kano, Kano State Nigeria. He graduated from Ahmadiyya Secondary School in Kano, Kano State in 1985. In 1986, Franklin Ekechukwu left Nigeria to United States of America. He has lived and worked in US since 1986.

With a BS degree in Chemistry, Concentration in Biochemistry, and Mathematic Minor, from University of North Carolina Charlotte, Mr. Ekechukwu worked as Research Associate and finally as Associate Scientists, and had owned various businesses. He is currently pursuing MS/MBA in Health Care Administration at University of Maryland University College.

 In 2003 he decided to leave the science field and concentrate in the Private Sector. He started a home mortgage company and became a Broker with Richmond Mortgage Group where he grew from becoming a Broker to a Lender;
    In 2005, He franchised a branch of Supreme Lending, a Dallas Texas Mortgage Banker, a Lending Company; the marriage did not last long, when Mr. Ekechukwu strategically moved and Franchised Key Financial Corporation. A Florida Mortgage lending Company. He is presently the Owner and Branch Manager of Key Financial Corporation, Maryland Branch, MD004, A firm that specializes in Commercial and Residential Home Mortgages.
Franklin Ekechukwu is also the President and CEO, of Timeline Capital Inc, A property acquisitions and Management Company;

        Mr. Ekechukwu has served in different capacity in different organizations; Former three times President of African student organization at University of North Carolina, Charlotte North Carolina; Former Public relations officer and founding member of Brothers Abroad Organization Charlotte, NC. An organization that encompass all Africans to encourage friendship, corporation among members; Former Public relations Officer Nwannedinamba Charlotte, North Carolina; Former secretary of Ikeduru Patriotic Union Washington DC metropolitan area; currently, Assistant Secretary general Ikeduru National Association; General Secretary Mbaitloi/Ikeduru Peoples’ Association, Washington, DC metropolitan area; Member Community of Friend Baltimore Metropolitan area; Member Nigerian Soccer League, Washington DC metropolitan area;     

 
      Mr. Franklin Ekechukwu still remains active and member of many other organizations, he dedicates most of his life in serving the course of advancing others and making a better life for many. He believes that the world will be a better place if only people will think more of others and less of themselves. And to change the world you have to participate, things does not get better by standing on the side. He hopes and believes that NIDOA will live up to his mission, a mission although a challenge but not impossible; with the help of all Nigerians; Nigeria will take its place in the world.
